I do personally take all these photos so they are of the actual topper. I don’t use filters so it should be a good representation of the hair although some monitors/screens may show a difference in colour. As hair is 100% human it can be coloured/toned but lightening the hair is not recommended as it could damage the hair as it has already undergone a process. 
I have attached a photo of me as I wear these toppers, please bear in mind I do add hair extensions for length and volume! (I’m wearing the rooted blonde balayage) also available in my shop.
